Day 2 Tiberias
Sea of Galilee – Capernaum.
Drive to Tiberias and start the tour with Boat Ride on the sea of Galilee, visit Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, Miracles of the multiplication of loaves and fishes, Peter’s Primacy, then to Capernaum, see the synagogue with dates to the time of Jesus and the Church built over Peter’s home continue stop at Cana where Jesus preformed his first miracle, back to Nazareth (Dinner& Overnight – Nazareth)
Day 3 Nazareth
Mt. Tabor (B-D)
Visit the Annunciation Church – Mary’s home, the Byzantine Church of St. Joseph and Mary’ well. Drive to Mt. Tabor to visit the Church of transfiguration. Back to hotel for dinner and overnight/ Nazareth
Day 4 Haifa Caesarea
Drive to Haifa, visit Stella Maris the Carmelite Monastery with the Madonna of Mt. Carmel. Continue to Caesarea; tour Caesarea Maritima with its Roman Theater, Aqueduct and Crusader City. Continue to the handsome town of Ein Karem to visit the birthplace of St John the Baptist and the close by Chapel of the Visitation Continue to Bethlehem dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Jerusalem
Mt. of Olives* Bethlehem
Start with a panoramic view of the Mount of Olives. Next to Pater Noster Shrine. Walk down the Palm Sunday Road; stop at – ‘Dominus Flevit, the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the Church of All Nations‘Rock of the Agony. Back to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity and Shepherds Field (Dinner& Overnight Bethlehem/ Jerusalem)
Day 6 Jerusalem
Start with Jerusalem to witness the way of the Cross via Dolorosa at Antonia Fortress where Jesus was condemned to death. The way of the cross that leads through old city to the church of the Holy Sepulcher& the Western Wall to see the remain of the temple compound. Continue to Peter in Gallicantu, the German Dormition Abbey Later, up to Mount Zion to visit& commemorates the “Last Supper”. New City of Jerusalem views the Israeli Knesset (The Israeli Parliament). Proceed to the Museum of Israel to see the Scaled Model of Jerusalem during Jesus times and the nearby Shrine of the Book were some of the Dead Sea Scrolls are exhibited Dinner& Overnight – Bethlehem/ Jerusalem.
Day 7 Jericho & Dead Sea
Visit Jericho the oldest inhabited city in the world, drive down to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Visit the Deseret Monasteries Then continue to the Dead Sea “lowest point on earth” Swim and enjoy the mud experience. Back to Hotel Dinner& overnight Bethlehem/ Jerusalem
